***Update From mom. Jeff is going to be there until his transplant which could be 3+ months. And then obviously for a while afterwards. Update: Jeff’s in the city at Motefiore Medical Center. There running all sorts of testing and scans. I haven’t been yet because I have a chest cold and don’t need him sicker. We FaceTime all day and half the night. He is very very tired and coughs constantly. We will be staying in NY for at least a year because after the surgery he has to go to the hospital twice a week to make sure the lungs don’t reject. Please keep the prayers and strength coming for my Hunny. Love you all***

**update** St E's planned on sending Jeff home today as they said there was nothing else they could do for him. Unfortunately, they now say it is not safe to send him home and they are working on a transfer to a hospital in NYC. Please keep sharing and donate if you can. Hi. My name is Jolene and my siblings and I are starting this go fund me for our parents Jeff and Correena. A month ago they were living a wonderful life in Florida. Jeff decided to leave his job at Walmart after 25 years to take a seasonal job in NY so they could be able to be in NY half a year and Florida half the year. Only 2 days after getting to NY Jeff became very ill and was admitted to St.Marys hospital where he diagnosed with Pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis and septic shock. He has Rheumatoid Arthritis that is attacking his lungs and causing the Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was on the highest oxygen and couldnt keep his O2 up so he was airlifted to a hospital in Poughkeepsie. He then was also diagnosed with Legionarres disease, Emphysema and COPD.He spent a week there and was able to come home for a few days but had to be taken back to the hospital. He has been at St. Es since then. He has spent close to a month in 3 different hospitals. He recently had a Bronchioscope to try to figure out why he is not getting any better. They were also told he now needs a lung transplant. They will be going to a hospital in NYC to discuss the transplant. Obviously Jeff is no longer working and mom retired last year when they moved to florida so there is no income coming in. They also are not sure what will happen with medical insurance.
