Our seal pup patients need your help to cool down!
The excessive heat is bringing temperatures across Puget Sound TWENTY degrees higher than average. While our pools are designed to keep rescued sea life like turtles, seals, porpoises and otters comfortable, this extraordinary event means we need to take extra measures-- fast!
Our busy season has just begun and we already have 7 seal pup patients at the hospital. In order to provide what is best for their recovery we need to cool down our two outdoor pools, maintaining an average temperature of about 60 degrees. We are in urgent need of a pool pump that will provide cool water in the summer and warm water during the winter. This will ensure we can meet any patient's needs year round.
Can you help Finn and Rainier chill out?! A donation of any amount will help our patients in urgent need today and many more well into the future. Thank you for your support!
