Our Sensory Track

I'm raising money in aid of BROOK COTTAGE FARM RIDING FOR THE DISABLED ASSOCIATION INCORPORATING CARRIAGE DRIVING and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. We need funds to finish constructing the last 210m of our beautiful Sensory Track. It will be a full half-kilometre circular trail along which our participants will ride and carriage drive. The track will be high quality, constructed with two layers of weed proof membrane and hardcore, with a superb equestrian surface which is kind to the ponies’ hooves. Along the route we will have sensory plants, wind chimes, ponds, honeysuckle archways, animals to spot and stepping stones. The bank running alongside the trail will be full of lavender, wild thyme and mint, and we will have picnic areas which we can customise for Christmas, Easter and Halloween. The track will mean many happy and stimulating adventures for our 60 participants. Over time, hundreds of our participants will use it and we hope that many other RDA groups from the region will be able to come and enjoy the adventures it will offer.
