Our Sweet Girl Kaelie

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this request. To honor and remember a life gone way too soon, our sweet girl,

Kaelie Makai Carter.

On Thursday July 27th, her family received the call that would change their lives forever, leaving us all in pure disbelief and completely heartbroken.

The entire family is struggling to process this unexpected tragedy, especially DeShawn and Myja, as no parent could ever prepare themselves to lose their child. So lets us come together as a compassionate community and support Kaelie’s family through this difficult time.

The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support from you all. Let’s also help alleviate some of the financial stress and burden. Your contribution, no matter the amount will make a profound impact on giving Kaelie the celebration she deserves. It will also offer her family some relief during this unimaginable time of grief. Your kindness and generosity will serve as a source of comfort and strength for them, knowing they will not have to walk this path alone.

We will always remember Kaelie’s infectious laugh, bright smile, huge heart and generous spirit. She impacted so many lives with the love she shared to those around her. She will always be deeply loved and forever missed by her parents, 6 sibilings, and countless amount of extended family and friends.

Lord, we know that you are the God who comforts and heals in our times of desperation. I pray that you provide comfort and peace to those whose hearts are hurting right now. Hold them in your mighty hand. Please place a hedge of protection around them. Wrap them in your love and remind them although they may have lost someone dear, they are not alone, for you are with them. Amen.
