Our turn to help the Rinne family

Hi! My name is Angela Wyatt. I'm coming to you on behalf of my wonderful faith filled neighbor's Della and Tony Rinne. Della and Tony are both fighting extreme medical issues at the same time. Tony and Della are always the first to lend a hand in the neighborhood and have been active fundraisers and volunteers since meeting in 2003.

Della was aware of a breast issue for which a mammogram and diagnosis was delayed by COVID restrictions. She and Tony had adopted a puppy while traveling for Tony's work. That blessed puppy,Cooper, was constantly drawn to a spot on her breast. In April of 2020, upon Della's insistence, a mammogram was scheduled. Within a few hours, she was called in for a sonogram and a diagnosis of cancer. She was immediately scheduled for a biopsy to verify the diagnosis. The following week, she underwent surgery to remove the cancer and indicated nodes. Her diagnosis was advanced ductile carcinoma stage 2. The surgery was followed by advanced chemo and radiation therapy for 6 months. She continued routine blood work as per doctor's instructions. During this time, Della's energy was bottoming out and she was diagnosed with fibromialgia. Tony was working locally due to the pipeline shutdown. He was offered a job in Minnesota for 10 months. Della's treatment could be managed remotely and she accompanied Tony. Della was having cognitive problems that became worse while in Minnesota. Her oncologist sent her to a neurologist who ordered a CT of her brain. The CT showed cancer in C1 and C2. A petscan was ordered by her oncologist and cancer was alo present in T3,4,5,6 and a rib. Her diagnosis was Terminal metastatic breast cancer stage 4. At this point, she is on maintenance drugs for metastatic breast cancer and constant prayer.

Tony has had 3 strokes. The first being in September of 2021. In October of 2022, a stint was put in his left knee for a blockage. Recently, while driving he had a second stroke followed by a third the following day. He was given a cat scan at a local hospital, which was followed by an emergency transfer to a larger hospital specializing in strokes. Tony was taken to St. Clair Hospital in Fenton Missouri by ambulance. It was there he was diagnosed with an Acute Ischemic left MCA Stroke. An initial surgery has been ordered. In addition,scans have been ordered for additional problematic arteries.

Tony and Della have truly been Blessed with the health insurance they have. However, the current need of meeting deductibles, copays, as well as travel to and from specialists has become quite cumbersome for their family. Any funds will be used for medical,travel expenses and necessities for either Tony or Della. Please help this faith filled family in their time of need. They truly feel Blessed because God has always provided and met their needs. It is time for us to assist in that Blessing by helping with the financial burden they are experiencing and facing in the future. Help me help them with a crucial contribution.
