Help our U16 Netball Team prepare for Nationals

Herts and Essex High School’s under-16 netball team finished as runners-up at the East Region Finals. Their achievement means they can now look forward to competing at the National Finals in March. The team from the Warwick Road secondary qualified for the regional stage after going unbeaten on their way to claiming the Hertfordshire county crown. They began their East Region campaign by winning all of their group matches against rivals from across Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridge, Norfolk and Suffolk.

The team then got the better of Brentwood 12-7 in the last four to secure a final showdown against Berkhamsted.

They were unfortunate to lose by two goals, but coming second overall meant they were the highest-placed state school in the competition.

Ella Bloomfield-Bowmaker captained the team that also included Olivia Mugele, Olivia Dougall, Esme De Temple, Lola Kersey, Erin Bird, Tulah Crace, Millie Fox, Gracie Smith, Keira Best and Michelle Ogungbemi.

It would be wonderful to provide them with extra training sessions with an expert coach, prior to the Finals. Also, to be able to provide them with kit to enable them to be able to compete against the best school teams in the UK. The competition entry alone is £250. Therefore I am asking for your support to be able to help them continue their journey and develop even further as a squad.
