Our unexpected vet bill
Donation protected
EDIT - a massive thank you to everyone who has donated. We have paid the vet bill and its looking like saint wont need any more vet intervention. His eye still doesn't close but is staying hydrated, his front paw is healing and can now leave the crate in the day but needs to go back in to sleep (just so he doesn't get up to mischief without us) With one more check up in the books we are so happy to have our kitty back. Thank you all for making it possible.
Hello, my name is Lauren, I am the mum of a fur baby Saint who is only 10 months old. On Friday 1st September at 1.30am our sweet little cat was attacked by a dog in our own front garden. The dog was off its lead on a walk and mauled Saint. Causing air pockets on both his lungs, a fractured front paw and a damaged left eye that will not close. He had to be placed in an oxygen tent to help him breathe and recover from the shock of being attacked. He is now a shell of the loving, carefree kitten we've fallen head over heels for. Due to the fracture Saint has to be crate rested for some time until he heals. Which totally goes against his exploring nature.
Since the attack, his vet bill has grown to £1,500 and his care has only just begun.
Myself and my husband are expecting in December and do not have the money to pay for a new addition and this big vet bill.
We are asking if you could kindly donate a little something to help our road to recovery a little easier and a little less stressful. We would be eternally grateful. We really hate to ask but its just come at the worst possible time, as all life struggles do. Thank you in advance.
Health update- saints left eye still doesn't close, we are not sure if he can see from that eye yet. His front foot is still healing, he has to be in his crate for at least one week. But his breathing is much better.
Thank you all for your kind words and healing wishes. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated so far. Thank you again
