Woman's Club of Ouray County 2020 Fundraiser
Donation protected
Yes, It's Unfortunately True... The 2020 WCOC Rummage Sale is Cancelled.
This Go Fund Me account has been set up to accept donations by the Woman's Club of Ouray County so our organization can continue to provide grants to Ouray County nonprofits while our community is going through this pandemic. Help the WCOC meet our goal!
Please consider making a donation in the amount of the funds you may have spent at the annual rummage sale, and the funds raised will be returned as grants to local nonprofits in October. Just because the WCOC not able to raise funds with this year's annual Rummage Sale does not mean that the needs of local nonprofits are still not there. So, please donate if you are able! Any donation would be greatly appreciated! Many small donations really do add up - we see it happen every year!
For the health and well-being of not only the WCOC membership, and also thinking of the community at large, the Woman’s Club of Ouray County will not hold their annual rummage sale this June 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please know this decision was not easily made. The WCOC relies heavily on donated household and clothing items from our community, as well as numerous volunteers, to make the annual rummage sale happen over several days to raise needed funds for Ouray County nonprofits.
If you currently have household items you would have donated, we encourage our community to make donations to either our neighbors at Second Chance, Habitat for Humanity in Montrose or the Salvation Army in Montrose. But, please keep the WCOC in mind next year for household good donations!
As always, the WCOC appreciates the past, present and future support from our community!
