Our Giving Hands Garden
Hello!
For the last 25 years Debbra Arndt has been growing fresh vegetables and fruits and giving it to the elderly and homeless in her neighborhood. She has raised beds in her small yard with over 500 plants, and sells her own homemade pickles, jams, and salsas to raise money to help her neighbors in need. Most of the people she feeds are over 80 years old and have no family.
My name is Rob Greenfield. I recently made this video about Debbra and tons of people are asking how they can support. I have set up this gofundme for Debbra because she is not much of a computer person and does things super oldschool. The only way she had set up for people to contribute was to mail a check to her nonprofit and I just know a lot of people don't use checks anymore .
So if you'd like to support her and help her to grow more food to feed the elderly in her community she would be absolutely elated to have your support. She's been at this for a long time and from the sounds of it most of the time she really doesn't get much help. Your support will bring healthy food to many and probably even more smiles to her and everyone she helps.
Funds raised will be used to buy needed supplies for the garden including seeds and fertilizer, to buy containers for the meals that she gives away, for food to supplement the meals she prepares from her garden, and to put gas into her truck for giving out vegetables and supplies.
If you want to talk to Debbra directly you can contact her through the Facebook page that I made for her: https://www.facebook.com/OurGivingHandsGarden/ or her email [email redacted]
I'm happy to help out and ask answer any questions you have as well.
Sending love to you all!
Rob
