OUT OF BOUNDS - A Short Film

Hi, I’m Sacha Orloff!

I’m a Melbourne-based student filmmaker, and I'm looking to fund my graduate project.

Out of bounds! It is a horror comedy about a butcher’s apprentice who thinks their boss is killing annoying and disobedient customers and serving them as a product.

This thought drives the apprentice to the brink of insanity, where they will question their childhood dream of becoming a butcher.

Taking inspiration from films like Evil Dead 2 and Delicatessen, it’s an over-the-top mess of dismemberment and dream-like absurdism.

Where would the money go?

We’re looking for $5000 to fund this film.

This money will go towards equipment such as camera lenses, a van to transport gear, silicone moulds and prosthetics for our dismemberment scenes, renting locations, and feeding the cast and crew.

And after all that, there's the cost of Film festival submissions. We plan to send this film to festivals nationally and globally as it’s a fun script that I feel needs an audience.
