Support the Fight: Help Overcome Stage IV Cancer
Donation protected
Cancer always finds when my life is at a high to come and make its reappearance. It waits until my guard is down, when I've started enjoying my life again, and it drains and eats away at me until I feel like I have nothing left.
Now I fight for time constantly. I've battled this twice before, once at 27, then at 29, and sadly I have to fight it again for a third time. My ovarian cancer has returned and this time as stage IV. It has spread to my right lung among other spots in my body. The prognosis looks pretty bleak. My oncologist has given me two years of life with treatment and one year of life without. I've made my promise to my loved ones that I would fight for more—more time, more life, just more. Cancer has taken my ability to have children and to live my life normally.
After much consideration, I've taken a leave of absence from work to focus on my health and healing as my treatment is aggressive and it feels like my body is constantly trying to keep up. With medical bills, the cost of living, and travel to and from treatment, this has been really hard on me financially as well.
I appreciate any help. I know everyone is going through their own battles, so even a prayer or healing vibes sent my way will mean the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to my story. As always, take care of your health, get any small symptoms checked, my ladies, keep up on your health exams, and advocate for yourselves.
