Ovarian Cyst Surgery - Kathleen Needs Your Help!

This past spring my wife Kathleen went to the doctor because she was experiencing extreme abdominal bloating and digestive issues that never got better. It was then that she discovered that she had two large endometrioid cysts on each ovary. These cysts are a major health concern for a couple of reasons. One is that they are malignant and indicate the presence of ovarian cancer. And second, they decrease fertility and contribute to a variety of other health issues and complications.
After months of going back and forth with insurance and being referred to different doctors, we were finally able to meet with an oncologist that recommended a laparotomy be performed to remove the cysts and have a biopsy done to determine if the cysts are cancerous or not. If the cysts are cancerous a full hysterectomy will be performed. If not they will do everything they can to remove the cysts and preserve Kathleen's fertility.
Currently, the surgery is scheduled for this coming Wednesday but our insurance only covers a small portion of the procedure $5,000 to be exact and it's estimated that there's an additional $4,000-$11,000 that we will be responsible for and we need to put down a deposit of $2,000 to be able to have this surgery. This is an amount that we don't have right off-hand and we're worried that we'll be forced to reschedule or push this surgery back further. Doing this can increase the risk of the cysts rupturing, damaging the ovaries or if the are cancerous it can be life-threatening. So, this procedure is necessary to help my wife heal and have a chance of getting her life back after dealing with the pain and discomfort that she's struggled with.
This is why we are asking for help from my family, friends, and anyone that wants to contribute to the cause of providing the funds needed for my wife's surgery. We're on an extremely short time-table since we just found out a couple of days ago that we needed to come up with a deposit in order to move forward with the surgical procedure. All donations will be used to pay for my wife's surgical procedure and medical bills. Kathleen is the love of my life and we want to sincerely thank you for any help you can provide!
