To our dear Ovenly friends near and far,
We made the heartbreaking decision to suspend all operations on Monday and laid off our entire team of 72 people. This team of bakers, porters, baristas, and packagers is made up of the most dedicated, hard-working staff, many of who have been with us for several years.
We have every intention of re-opening and rebuilding the moment we are able to but without the commitment of government relief, we are turning to our community to help provide a safety net for our staff during this uncertain time.
100% of all donations will go directly to our team members who were laid off: the people who have helped bring joy to all on a daily basis.
We know we are not alone in this. All small businesses are suffering right now, and we will all get through this together. In the meantime, we are working behind the scenes and doing everything humanly possible to keep this business alive and ready for when we can re-open and reunite our team members together.
