Overclucked Bots - Cityside Robotics Team
Donation protected
We are the Overclucked Bots, a robotics team from Cityside Middle School in Zeeland, Michigan. Each year, we work as a team to brainstorm, design, build, and program a robot to compete in the game released by the First Tech Challenge organization.
In addition to the many engineering and problem solving skills we gain, the most important lessons we learn include how to communicate, collaborate, build each other up, and share our excitement about robotics with our school and our community.
There are over 450 FTC teams like us in the state of Michigan. This fall, we competed in two qualifiers and made it to the State Championship in Howell, Michigan. We were finalists in our field at the state level and won an Inspire Award, which is the most prestigious award for overall teamwork and community outreach. This qualified us for the FTC World Championship in Houston, Texas. We are one of only four teams from Michigan who will be competing at this highest level!
Your funds will help our team be able to compete at the World Championship in April. All the money raised will go directly to the team members and their families to help offset costs of traveling to Houston for the competition.
Thanks for joining our mission!
