My name is Joe Zoller. Among other things, I am a husband who is infatuated with his wife, a father of five wonderful-if-not-frustrating children, a 22-year veteran science educator working full-time in a private high school in Houston (TX), an original metalhead of the 80s, a die-hard fan of several sports teams (St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Blues, Arsenal, Wisconsin Badgers, BYU Cougars), a music lover (with a particularly eclectic affinity for 70s Rock, 80s Pop/Dance/Rock, 90s Country, Cool Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Prog Metal, Speed Metal, Power Metal, and especially Thrash Metal), and (the reason for this site) a "CRPS Warrior" or one of many who suffer from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (Type II).
Because of my CRPS, I am in constant, severe pain, but am determined to continue serving the students who I teach and providing for the family who I love. Unfortunately, this determination comes with an exorbitant financial burden, and my monthly medical expenses range from $120 up to $500+. I have therefore created this GoFundMe page with the idea that people who wish to help to offset the cost of my medical treatments can do so in a way that allows them to make official IRS declarations rather than just donating cash directly to the cause.
