OVERLOOKED - A fresh, new mental health awareness brand.

Hello,

My name's Adam and I'm setting out to create a fresh, new mental health awareness brand with the aims of raising awareness and prompting conversation through the sale of meaningfull, cause-specific merchandise and public events.

I am creating a brand that raises awareness of mental health and various services within sector by increasing visibility and encouraging conversation through a variety of unique clothing ranges.

A generous percentage of our pre-tax profits will be donated to a selection of mental helath related charities to provide vulnerable people with the resources required to get support where they otherwise dont meet criteria for help and aren't financially able to acess support privately.

Our name will be "Overlooked" . Our slogan will be "EVERY Voice EVERY Mind"

I'm asking for your support today to assist me with getting this vision off the ground, your donations will go towards things such as branding and identity, graphic designers to help with imaging, social media and internet presence and creating a stockpile so that orders can be processed efficiently from the very beginning. Any funds left over once things are up amd running will be divided and donated to our 3 main charitable organisations who are:

Cause and Purpose

On a personal level, I've lived with mental illness for almost 10 years. In the beginning I was fed various medication in the hope that that would supress it, my presentation at the time wasn't cause enough for concern to offer me any other help. As time went on i deteriorated and "self destructive" behaviours began. This deterioration in my mental wellbeing tilted the scales from me not meeting criteria for urgent care, to now being "too risky" for professionals to want to interact with me.

This left me feeling helpless and alone, like no matter what i did i'd fall outside of the margins for help.

I came up with this charitable concept out of a desparate, heart-felt desire to make sure that nobody else feels as hopeless and worthless as i have over the last decade. Im committed to making sure that EVERY Voice has an ear and EVERY mind has a safe space to express itself.

So please.. if you feel passionate about providing pathways for those living with mental illness who would otherwise live in the shadows.. and you are financially able..
