Ryan and I have the happiest news!!!! We are OVERJOYED to announce that we are on the road to ADOPTION! We are so thankful God has led us down this path for our family! We have taken the last few months to pray over this decision, and we are just so happy and at such peace about this adventure!

We want nothing more than to be parents, and to raise our children to love and serve the Lord.


As many of you know, Ryan and I have been trying to conceive for the last 3 ½ years. We have not lost hope of one day conceiving, but after much prayer for God's wisdom and direction in all possibilities, He has confirmed our hearts desire for adopting.


This incredible desire to be parents comes straight from the Lord, and we know He has a beautiful story for our family. Our HOPE is that God's faithfulness, love, and peace will shine through us on this journey. We want Him to be glorified above all else.




For me, my two greatest desires in life have always been: to be a wife to my very best friend (which God blessed me with beyond measure), and to be a mother. From as far back as my very first memory, I have had a fierce and passionate desire to be a mom. I can’t even write that sentence without crying. I truly believe raising a child is one of the Lord's most precious gifts. Growing in my marriage with my husband and learning more about him and his heart each day, I am so thankful for him and truly blessed that God chose him to be my husband. Ryan’s heart to father makes my heart skip a beat. Watching him coach football and pour his love into those boys on and off the field is one of my favorite things about my husband. I know God gave me my perfect partner. This long-destined wait for a family has strengthened our bond with each other, and our HOPE in God. We have never and will never lose our hope.


Our biggest fear with pursuing adoption, and even going public with it was and is the financial aspect.

I’m sure you know, but adoption is extremely costly. We also know that fear does not come from God. Money is no obstacle for Him! How could we let our fears and insecurity over the cost of adoption stop us? God has called us to this, and we are more than ever, hearts and arms wide open for this adventure!


After much prayer and consideration, we have humbly made the decision to ask for help. We know that saying “it takes a village”, and for us, becoming parents will take a village.

We need to raise an astounding $25,000 for our adoption. We truly believe with your support, we will be able to bring our son or daughter home. We have chosen an agency that is extremely ethical and Christian based, and we are so proud to be working with Quiver Full Adoptions. We have our home study on January 16th! We have so much in the works to become parents! We are over the moon!
 

Any donation to our family is so special and appreciated! You all are such a beautiful part in this journey. We made this heart holder frame to serve as a reminder of the faithfulness and promises of God, and to all of our friends and family who have and will help us bring our child home. Each and every person who donates to our adoption will have their name written on a heart and dropped into this beautiful frame. The frame reads: The Road To Baby Overton. We will proudly display this in the nursery and let our child know how much love went into bringing them home. God writes the most beautiful stories. THANK YOU from the deepest part of our hearts!
