Owen and Genevieve's Education Fund

Let's make it happen for O and G!

From the friends and family of Owen and Genevieve, thank you for taking the time to visit this fundraiser.

As you may know, Owen and Genvieve's father, Jim McComb, passed on June 15, 2023.

Jim was a proud member of Local 399 International Union of Operating Engineers for over 20 years, a Mount Carmel graduate class of ’95, and was raised in the St. Christina Parish and the baseball fields of Mt. Greenwood Park. Jim was a South Side guy at heart with North Side roots.

Above all else, Jim was Dad to Owen and Genevieve. His favorite days were those spent with them, whether it was poolside or riding bikes up to the park, helping with homework and school projects, or watching his babies grow into the talented athletes they are today. They were his pride and joy and he cherished every moment they had together.

Owen, 13, is a rising 8th grader at Prairie Junior High School.

Genevieve, 9, will be moving on to 5th grade at Stony Creek Elementary School.

Our goal in this fundraiser is to support Owen and Genevieve as they continue their education journeys now and in the years to come.
