Owen Curtis - Memorial

Hello Everyone,

This “go fund me’ is a little different than others because the person we are honouring is a little different than others, which is part of the reason we all loved Owen so much.

However, no one has felt his loss more than the family he loved so much.

As an awesome group of friends of his Daughter, Desiree we struggled with what we could do to show her our love and support during this time. After many group chats and phone calls we decided on something the entire community could enjoy.

Owen has touched our lives and community in more ways than I could ever list - and more than a few we will never even know about ;)

Because Owen was always involved with the community we feel that there would be no better honour than to purchase a memorial bench for the park in Wingham. Not only is the bench a need for the town, but it is also the perfect place for community members to sit and reflect on the amazing things Owen has done. And who knows, they may also come up with some amazing ideas of their own to make a difference in our community.

The bench must meet the towns requirements and will cost $3600 CAD plus administrator fees.

So any support you could provide will be greatly appreciated.
