Owen Johnson

Hello everyone, my name is Ben and I’m a close friend/neighbor of Owen Johnson and his family. Owen Johnson is a 17 year old Waupaca High School Junior who has been diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma with metastasis to his lungs. His journey started before his last football season with a knee injury and was then thought to be Oshgood-Schlatters during hockey season. With no resolution and increasing pain, an MRI was ordered and had suspicious results. Owen then had a bone biopsy of his knee which was highly concerning for malignancy and now confirmed Ewings. Owen and his family will be traveling frequently to Children’s hospital for upcoming scans, treatments, and appointments. Owen will be required to stay in the hospital for much of his chemo. This page is to help cover the burden of medical bills, costs associated with frequent travel, and missed work. We have an account set up at a local bank in Owen‘s name where all funds will be transferred. I would like to thank everyone that donated, words cant even come close to the support. Again these funds will be used through out OJs long road through this. Co-pays, travel, missed work, and medications. If anyone was wondering I Ben Harn started this for everything said above. I am a very close friend, first with Owens father and mother for the last 18 years. Then OJ came along and I became the non related Uncle Ben.
