Owen “New York” is out for 6 months

This GoFundMe is set up for Owen Watkins or also know as “New York”. He is a football referee in Las Vegas and on Sunday, Sept 10th during the first drive of his first game of the day he was injured by stepping incorrectly on the new curbs that were placed beside field 1 & 2 at All American Park. His ankle was fractured in 3 places. A Tri malleolar fracture. He has surgery scheduled for 9/20 and the Dr. said he will be out for around six months. He makes his living as a sports official and this means he will not be able to work during this time. Aside from no income there will likely be extensive medical bills. Our hopes is that the flag football, tackle football and overall Vegas sports community rallies behind Owen in helping him during this very difficult time. Any bit helps!
