In Loving Memory of Owyn McInnis:

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the loss of our dear friend, Owyn McInnis, a vibrant 22-year-old varsity volleyball player at Thompson Rivers University. On November 29, 2023, Owyn's promising journey was tragically cut short in a car accident in Kamloops, BC, involving three members of the TRU Wolfpack volleyball team.

From the day he was born, Owyn brought immense joy and warmth into our lives. As a varsity athlete, he showcased not only exceptional skill but also unwavering dedication to his craft.

Owyn's parents and sister, Sheldon, Erin and Brielle, were his biggest fans and played an integral role in supporting his sports endeavours. Their tireless contributions to the community enriched Owyn's journey and endeared them to all who knew them.

In this difficult time, we rally together to support the McInnis family and the injured players on their path to recovery. The funds raised will provide support to Sheldon and Erin as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Additionally, any excess funds will be dedicated to honoring Owyn's memory in the community he cherished.
