Oxenford Defibrillator Fundraiser

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page and supporting our very worthwhile cause.

We are the residents of Oxenford, a small hamlet on the outskirts of Ilminster in Somerset. As many of us have known people who have been saved by defibs, we thought it time Oxenford should join the community of public defib ownership, and provide time critical access to one of these life saving devices. To this end we have decided to raise funds by running the Oxenford Try-athalon... (forgive the pun). This will entail a strenuous 34km bike ride from Oxenford to West Bay followed by a gruelling 13km hike over Golden Cap on the Coastal path to Lyme Regis. We will finish with a sea swim in the tepid bay of Lyme Regis. Seventeen locals are attempting this Olympian feat, but all are very welcome to join us.

We have set up a charity "Oxenford Public Access Defibrillator registration no 1204392" and our Gift Aid application is being processed by HMRC. Unfortunately this is taking longer than we thought and we'd very much appreciate if we could email you with a gift declaration for Gift Aid once the charity is approved - This makes such a difference.
