D-28 repair

Hi Folks,
Never used this fundraising thing before but this isn’t so much about me then my Martin D-28. This is the guitar I purchased in the early 90’s from our first big “advance” from Electra records. It was during the Pure Guava phase if I remember correctly.
Long story short, I’ve written literally 95% of my Ween songs over the last 25 years with this very guitar. Everything from “Transdermal Celebration” to “Buenos Tardes” to “Birthday Boy” to “Stay Forever”, “The Argus”….everything. My entire last record was written and recorded with this guitar, etc etc
SO, I recently picked it up to begin writing songs for my forthcoming record and to my horror it was in a state of emergency. The entire front of the guitar had a massive crack, more like a canyon going straight up the front to the bridge plate. The bridge had completely unglued itself from and the guitar and the braicings inside became undone thus concaving the entire front of the guitar. Basically, the guitar was breaking itself apart to be potentially unusable forever.
I rushed the guitar to my luthier and he began work on it immediately trying to prevent everything from getting worse. The cost estimate of reconstructing my guitar will be upwards of a thousand dollars. Unfortunately im super low on funds right now and feel this would be a very respectable way for you guys to help out…
I’m posting some pictures of whats going on right now with my Martin, pictures don’t show whats going on inside the guitar where the major surgery is happening. It should HOPEFULLY be re-built in about a month at which point I can start writing music again. I’m superstitious about these things and without this guitar I’m a little lost. THANK YOU for any donations, it will help out considerably getting this done!
