Ozzy Embrich Medical-Memorial Fund

My name is Rachel Budko; I am Ozzy's Aunt, Corey's sister. As parents, we never anticipate the loss of a child, especially one so young. It is a devastating experience: emotionally, spiritually, and financially.
Ozzy would have been 2 in February. He was a rambunctious little man with a contagious laughter like no other. Ozzy had the power to light up a room and bring us together. He was truly "all boy", yet, he gave the best hugs. His older sisters: Roxi, Ariel and Stella were the best big sisters anyone could have asked for. There is a void in our hearts, a laughter that has been silenced. The heavens have gained an Angel.
Monday morning, 11/28, Corey and Mallory took Ozzy to Red Bud Regional Hospital for flu-like symptoms. He was tested for the flu, covid, RSV and meningitis. All were negative and he was sent home. Monday after they got home, he was a happy boy, cycling around the house and playing. Everyone went to bed as normal. Tuesday morning, Mallory went to wake Ozzy, discovering he had passed in his sleep. Every parent's worst possible nightmare. She called Corey at work and then family.
This fund is set up to assist the Embrich family in recovering from their financial losses. It is beyond devastating that Ozzy has passed. Now they are paying for a funeral, medical bills, and family counseling to recover from the tragedy. These bills add up tremendously, and any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated during this time.
