Himalayan Anthropology Field School

My name is Logan Moring, and I am a junior anthropology and psychology double major at the University of Kentucky. This summer, I will be traveling to the Himalayas in northern India for a three-week medical anthropology field expedition. On this trip, I will participate in public health clinics, tours of major religious landmarks, and lectures on Buddhism, Hinduism, Himalayan culture, and traditional medicine. I believe that this will be an invaluable experience, as I will be studying and working in a culture unlike any Western society. This will give me a new, diverse perspective that will serve me well in any profession that I choose.
Being a college student comes with some inherent financial strains, and I'll only be able to participate in this amazing opportunity with some help from my family and friends! The funds I raise here will go toward program tuition, international airfare, books, and camping and outdoor gear, as our team will be camping outside most nights. Every little bit will help! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me any time!
Thanks so much for your support!
