Let's Save Premont Football

Hi! In 2011 a desision was made to do away with football in our little town  of Premont.  Since then, school enrollment has gone down, morral has gone down, and the spirit of the once joyfull town has gone down.   Last week a meeting was held to discuss the possibility of this finally bringing back the football program to Premont. We would start with a combined 7th & 8th grade team and increase every year until we have a full athletice program.  The 20 players would be required to have good grades, good attendence, good behavior, and parent involvement.  We currently have 22 players who are commited to getting this done.  Another requirement is that we raise at least $10,000 for uniforms and equipment. Because we have not had football in more than 3 years, our equipment is old and no longer state approved.  Please help bring out little town back to life by making a donation! Please spread the word and let me know of anyone you think might be willing to help. Uniforms have been ordered and will need to be  paid for in a little over a week.
