Vivian's Second Chance

Vivian is going through her second stem cell transplant right now at Dana Farber/Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She lives in central New York. At age 58 she went through her first fight for multiple myeloma and now with an additional complication of leukemia is facing this second challenge. She is a brave soul. As a great mom to two children and the grandmother of four wonderful young grandchildren, she deserves more time! After the next month in the hospital she will come home, but will require weekly return visits to Boston to monitor her progress. The round trip mileage is approximately 550 miles with the additional cost of lodging and meals over the next three months. This expense comes out of pocket and will be a difficult struggle, not covered by insurance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. She's not one to ask for charity or pity. She just wants to have the ease of mind to know she can continue this fight without burdening her family. She so wants to be part of their lives for as long as possible. Please help Vivian.
