The Miller Family

Hello All,

As many of you may or may not know, Sean, Debra, and Miriam Miller are in a battle. Debra was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. She has been spending a lot of time receiving medical care in Indianapolis and recovering at home in Champaign. Sean and Miriam have been doing their best to care for Debra while she fights this battle.

Those of us who are fortunate enough to call the Miller's our friends are well aware of how they are always willing to offer a helping hand. But unfortunately, right now, they are the ones that could use the helping hand.

When life presents these unfortunate challenges, we often are quick to say "let me know what I can do to help." As we are all well aware, time is the most precious commodity and something none of us ever seem to have enough of.

Time is what we would like to help them with. Right now, the most valuable thing their family can spend their time doing is helping Debra in her recovery. Spending time with her to keep her spirits up. Making sure she is comfortable and receiving everything she needs to put her best fight forward and keep her focus positive.

So we are looking to raise funds to assist in the cost of meal preparation, house cleaning, yard work, or any other day-to-day task that takes precious time and focus away from their battle. Any funds above and beyond can be used for unexpected expenses incurred along this journey and an education fund for Miriam.
