Hi, my name is La'Vada and I'm fundraising for my daughter. My daughter has been falsely imprisoned based on a neighbors word and has not been able to even make a statement. She got into a neighbor dispute with a 29 year old that my daughter was helping get her life together. She was being attacked by the 29 year old and 4 other men and defended herself. The police never took a statement from her, just aggressively arrested her and through her in jail. She is a full-time student at Cincinnati State, a full-time employer at a daycare and a full-time mother to her 5 year old son. Our justice system is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty but instead my daughter has been treated guilty until proven innocent. I talked to an attorney willing to take her case but has a flat fee starting at 35,000. I am raising funds to get her a real attorney as the public defender assigned to her believes she is guilty and refused to talk to me because he thinks all black people are criminals. My daughter needs an attorney who will fight for her as she is being charged with an F1 felony and her bond is $100,000. I myself am a single mother and I have my grandson who misses his mom. The system doesn't understand that being in jail even for a week can ruin her life. She could lose her job and get kicked out of school. My daughter is only 21 and was working hard to have a bright future. Anything you can donate will help so my daughter can get out and take care of her son while she fights her case. The system is bully and have bullied my daughter based on a he said she said case and lazy policing. Please help me fight back against the system who constantly bullies the poor and underprivileged.
