Julian’s journey to recovery

On February 27th at around 345 in the after noon my best-friends 15 year old Autistic son Julian was sought out, followed and then verbally and physically assaulted by a student from his school that he barely even knew. During the assault Julian was punched multiple times on the right side of his face , after being thrown to the ground he was then picked up and kneed in the face, resulting in extensive facial trauma and fractures.

on 3/7/24 Julian then underwent surgery to reconstruct the right side of his face. This procedure warranted the placement of three metal plates responsible for holding his fractured facial bones together. Luckily, they were able to go through his upper gums and lower eye lid to prevent scaring for two of the plates.

Julian and his family have a long road ahead of them. He will be having multiple dr appts and therapy both mental and physical as a result of this assault.

My friend is a single mother who is the families only financial provider, and has been the sole provider to him and his 3 siblings for the last 7 years. She’s independent and has never asked anyone for anything. But with the huge heart she has , has always been someone I know that I personally have called upon in my time of need and she’s always been there. I’m asking for the community support to show her that people will be there for her in her time of need .

Thankfully Her insurance will cover a big portion of his surgery buy not all of it.

I am posting on behalf of her friends and family asking for any assistance anyone can provide to take a little bit of stress off her financially and emotionally.
