Harry’s fight ❤️

Hi everyone, I have created this go fund me to support the Greenen-Bell family following the discovery of a heart breaking diagnosis.

A few weeks ago 13 year old Harry came down with what we thought was a simple cough, over the course of a couple of weeks he was seen a number of times by doctors as his cough just seemed to be progressing. Then on the 17th September Harry was taken to A&E where his symptoms rapidly progressed to the point where a specialist team from Southampton made their way to the island to transport him to Southampton ICU. This was due to the discovery of a large mass in his chest that was causing significant pressure to his lungs and heart. There was fluid in and around his lungs severely affecting his breathing, with one lung having collapsed from the intense pressure. Upon further tests in Southampton it was discovered that Harry has T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma.

Harry has had his first round of intense chemotherapy alongside various treatments to reduce the mass. Harry has also had a number of intrusive procedures including draining fluid from his lungs multiple times and lumbar punctures. Harry currently is in very good spirits and is facing this all head on. This is just the start of Harry’s predicted 5 year long journey of treatment. With this current treatment plan the doctors and professionals involved are all very confident that Harry will have a full recovery and normal adult life.

We are asking for some financial support at this time due to the family living on the Isle of Wight and travel costs, Harry also has three siblings that are coming to visit as much as possible as he is missing them greatly. Any money donated would support with travel costs, day-to-day living, supporting the family, things to keep Harry comfortable and occupied, to alleviate any financial stress so that the family can focus on Harry’s recovery.
