On November 27 2018 my brother Luis G Lopez and Jose L Lopez were victims of a hate crime at my dads mechanic shop Lopez Tires. My dads business has been closed since. My dad got 8 stitches in his arm and has his back severely bruised due to the blows he received. My brothers right side of his face was shattered, he had a three hour surgery to place a titanium plate from the right side of his face to his nose to be able to attach the bones and keep his eyeball in place and a plate under that. We are asking for your help through this difficult time, being that my brother nor dad of any health insurance,
any donations made will be greatly appreciated by our entire family. Thank you all for your prayers and positive vibes. Our family is overwhelmed by all the love and support!
I apologize for the late UPDATE, it has now been a week and things have still been a hectic. My dad is doing much better his arm and back are still bruised but much less and his stitches should be removed in a week. My brother Gustavo Lopez is home and recovering from his injuries and surgery. He had an appointment yesterday to look at his eye and there is no damage to the nerve and the bleeding has now stopped. The swelling has come down a whole lot and is looking a lot better. But his body is still very weak from what has happened that he fainted while leaving his eye appointment and had to leave the establishment in a wheel chair. The walking and appointment itself was too much for him in. He has an appointment next week with the plastic surgeon to look at his face. Thank you all for the love and support!
