For the love of Libby!

To know Libby is to know LOVE! If you've crossed paths with my stunning sister, you know just how lucky the world is to be graced by someone so kind, loving, generous, and SO wonderful! Libby celebrates every individual around her and lives her life with profound goodness and grace: an incredible mother of three, a devoted wife, friend, daughter, salon owner and magnificent sister. She is simply the best person I've ever known. The world is better because of her, she is the human I love the most... and I need your help to support her.

Libby was diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer a few years ago. It was early and small, she had a lumpectomy and radiation, and she was healing. For a couple years, all tests came back clear and my electric little niece even showed up as Libby got back on her feet! But cancer sucks. It sucks a LOT. And it's stubborn. And heartbreakingly, it has returned aggressively.

Libby has been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and will be facing major surgery at the end of this month: a bilateral mastectomy, reconstruction and ongoing treatment. Her surgical recovery will take her away from work for atleast 8 weeks and her re-entry will be a slow climb back into full-time work and chasing her three growing kiddos. Daily life will require a new compass as she faces this battle, "normal" will have to be redefined. As her family, we are eager to meet her needs so she can focus on rest and healing.

Support will be needed in many ways and the LAST thing I want her worried about is the cost of her care. Sadly, that is the reality of any of us facing such a battle. The medical costs will be considerable and the loss of wages will feel insurmountable. Help me rally around Libby with love! I would love to pave the way for her to fight her way through this, unburdened & unencumbered by nonsense. Libby is a warrior. Libby is sunshine on the darkest days. Help me shed a little light on her path back to health!
