Hello HOPE families, friends, and faculty,
This GoFundMe account has been set up in support of Jeremy Nelson and his family. It is our intention that this fundraiser will help ease any financial burden brought on the Nelson family due to the sudden termination of his position at Heritage Oak Private Education.
Mr. Nelson took his position as the Elementary Director at HOPE in 2015. His role as director was not only an important one, but one that brought comfort to the students and communication to the parents. He was a dedicated advocate and brought us together as a family.
On Thursday, October 1, Mr. Nelson received the devastating news his position at HOPE was being terminated due to pay cuts. He was given until 5:00 PM Friday, October 2, to clear out his office and say his goodbyes to his fellow HOPE peers, students, and families he had grown to know and care for over the past 5 years.
We "hope" you will find it in your heart to donate as little or as much as you are able. As Mr. Nelson always said, "we are a family."
