Life saving help needed

Over the past couple of years what had started out as a very healthy and positive lifestyle change for myself, quickly and unexpectedly transformed into a very serious detriment and battle leaving me fighting for my life!

For a while now I have been diagnosed and faced with a very rare illness that only about 3% of the world population ever goes through and in most cases is very hard to treat and ends up becoming fatal. It’s called Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome (SMA).

I have been admitted over 50 times at every hospital throughout Spokane and Kootenai county, been in the beginning stages of kidney failure, almost needing blood transfusions, had over a dozen emergency surgeries and procedures, 2 Picc Lines, 2 different feeding tubes placed, catheters, bowel obstructions, my stomach pumped more times than being admitted into the hospitals, my gallbladder removed, emergency dental work from root canals to extractions, 4 bone infections, dehydration, potassium infusions, Hypokalemia, etc…!

This illness has been very challenging to live with to say the least and has now brought me to the point where I need 2 different surgeries to save my life!

I have been seen, treated and working with the best doctors, surgeons and specialists in all of Washington state who specialize with rare illnesses and diseases, who all have informed me recently, as well as my family, that without these 2 surgeries this illness is going to cost me my life in a very short amount of time! Their words from my recent visits last week, "Either have another surgery or at 104 lbs you won't be here probably come September!”

Even though this illness is mentally, emotionally and physically taking a toll on me, spiritually I’m still holding on and “in it to win it!” I truly believe there is a divine purpose for all of this and God has great things ahead for me!

After a lot of consideration, thought and prayer, I have created this account in hopes to be able to pay for 1 of the 2 surgeries I need that is not covered under any insurance as of right now as well as living expenses, in order to help me continue to fight this battle and save my life!
