8500 MILES TO SCATTER JOHNNY BOY

JOHHNY BALL PARK My nine year-old boy Johnny loved baseball and we planned to see all of the MLB ballparks together as father and son until tragedy said otherwise.   His brother Tommy and I are continuing our quest to spread Johnny's ashes at all of the ballparks acoss the nation.   Can you support us in this pursuit?  We will be traveling from Fort Lauderdale Florida in June with planned stops at 12 ballparks through 16 states.  This trip will take us west through AL, MS, LA, TX, NM, AZ, as far north as San Francisco CA and then easterly through the mountains of NV, UT, CO, across the plains of KS, MI, and southeasterly through KY, TN, GA and finally FL, Using the old VW bus, we will be camping out each night, taking in the sights and flavors of the USA and leaving behind a piece of Johnny along the way.   This planned route is long, some 6,500 miles, , and the journey  will take five to six weeks.  Last year we knocked off 3 ballparks in 21 days but this year is very ambitious indeed.  Next year we expect to travel 4,700 miles.  Tommy is at the right age to travel and the schedules align so well.  We would love your support in keeping the memory of Johnny alive and fulfilling a promise to a boy who loved the game.  You can check our progress along the way by visiting www.johnnyballpark.com and through Facebook.
