Raising brain injury awareness

Donation protected
On the 24th May 2015 my life changed forever. In a freak accident with my beloved horse, Pete, we had a rotational fall at Rockingham International Horse Trials. Pete lost his life and I was left in critical care with a life-threatening head injury, and remained acutely ill for most of the summer.
Originally due to be in hospital for a year, I was discharged after two months. The road to recovery has been harder than I could have ever imagined, psychologically and physically, but by doing this I am proving living with a brain injury does not have to stop you from achieving incredible things.
In June 2016 I am doing the Bloodwise Blenheim Palace Triathlon, with my boyfriend doing the swim for me and I will be doing the 20km bike and 6km run.
I am raising money for the Central England Rehabilitation Unit in Leamington, the hospital that is responsible for my remarkable recovery and Oaksey House, who have pushed me further along the road with their expert sports rehabilitation.
Doing this means everything to me. To be well enough to compete and, in doing so, to raise money for the two main places that saved my life and quality of life, is overwhelming. Please give all you can!!
