Help me save my family

Hello, my name is Mariam Wajeh, a mother from Jabalia, Gaza. I am 32 and a mother to 5 beautiful children. I have a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and was an entrepreneur before the war began. I launched my startup 4 years ago, it was my dream. Since the war began, my house and my business have both been destroyed, leaving my family without a stable shelter or source of income.

I need your help to save my family from the devastation of the war.

Most urgently, my baby Jamal (2 years old), is suffering and in need of immediate aid. His hand was broken by stones which fell from the bombing of our home. He also has acquired hepatitis. We don’t have diapers of milk for him. I need to evacuate him to get him proper medical care!

After our home was destroyed, we evacuated to a school and slept in a room with 90 other people. Since then, we built a tent for our 10-person family. We have lived in this tent for 5 months. There are many diseases circulating the refugee camp. We have lack clean water, aid, and essentials that make it very difficult to survive day-to-day.

I am desperate to evacuate as soon as possible to ensure the safety and well-being of my family.

This is our tent in the refuge camp. It has limited space and we have no other resources.

Purpose:

The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise enough funds to cover the costs of travel, the entry fee into Egypt from Gaza (70% of our goal), temporary shelter, medical expenses for Jamal, and basic necessities for my family until we can get back on our feet.

Goal:

Our goal is to raise £32,000 in order to secure our family safely outside of Gaza, and to provide my family with the resources to rebuild our lives.

We are a family of 7 hoping to evacuate with your help. My husband and I want to evacuate Gaza with our 5 children.
