Help keep Freedom Alive

My beloved cat, Freedom, was unknowingly attacked by my housemate's pit bull on Thursday evening. After finding him outside the next morning, traumatized with a mangled back leg, I quickly rushed him to the vet and discovered that his bone had been severly fractured, beyond the point of repair and that he would need to have his leg amputated, else he would have to be put down. Amputation surgery literally costs an arm and a leg at $1,200, and having spent $700 already on intital vet visits, Go Fund Me is my last resort to save Freedom's life. It's been almost a week since the attack and his leg is deteriorating as we speak. If he doesn't get medical help soon, he will soon perish from the spread of infection. Freedom has been with me since I helped rescued him and his sister in an abandoned basement as kittens nearly 6 years ago. He's like a brother to me, so it's a harsh reality to face losing him and being only 6 years old, it's too early for Freedom to leave us. Any help will be a help towards Freedom.
