Help a Canadian soldier (me) beat Stage 4 Rectal Cancer

Hi there stranger, may I please ask for your help?

My name is Brad, and I am a Stage 4 Cancer Patient in Canada. For the past two and a half years I have been fighting Rectal Cancer. Early on it was just Stage 2, and despite chemo, radiation, and removing my rectum (and some of my liver), I am now a stage 4 patient with 3 smallish tumors in my liver and 3 small ones in my lungs. It sounds bleak, but it's not all bad. I have hope. Can you please help me get a procedure only offered in the United States?

There is a treatment there called Histotripsy, which is FDA approved for destroying liver tumors. It uses ultrasound to turn the tumors into goo from the inside out. It is non-invasive, and works specifically on tumors like mine. However, it is expensive. The procedure costs $50,000 USD, so I am trying to raise $75,000 Canadian Dollars to pay for travel, the procedure (and to accommodate the conversion rate into USD). Sadly, It's not cheap, and it isn't available in Canada.

Currently I am undergoing more chemotherapy to try and shrink my tumors, and maybe get to surgery (again), but my oncologist and liver surgeon are concerned because I have a genetic mutation (KRAS G12V) which makes my tumors more aggressive, and more resistant to chemotherapies. To top it off, one of the tumors is too close to an artery in my liver. My liver surgeon can't do anything with this right now. I have also already had a liver resection, so there are limits to how many surgeries I can get. Histotripsy is my best shot at beating this.

My wife and I are middle-class Canadians, and we cannot afford this treatment. I work for the Canadian Armed Forces, and while I have great medical benefits - they don't cover this treatment.
