Amy Benz Hollingsworth Emergency Fund

Hi, my name is Nicki Zimmerman from Granite City , IL.. Lifelong friend of Amy Benz Hollingsworth.

Amy was raised in Murphysboro IL and lived in Sarasota many years before moving to Rotonda West FL . Amy has been my best friend for 40 years. Anyone who knows her will tell you she is one of the kindest, most self less souls you could meet. She has spent her life caring for those around her and does it gladly. She works everyday from sun up to sun down detailing boats at her business Ultimare Detail at Gasparilla Marina. She and her daughter Michayla had their home and her business completely destroyed by Hurricane Ian. They were unable to leave the area by the time they found out they were a direct hit in Rotonda West and are devastated from surviving 150 mph winds while their house crumbled around them.

The destruction in their area is unimaginable and while they are ok, they are without a home, a business and almost all of their possessions.

Amy would never ask for help from anyone, but is in a dire situation. She has no idea where she will be going and is trying to figure out what they can do.

We would be completely humbled and forever grateful if there is anyway that you could help. All proceeds will go directly to Amy for living expenses while she tries to take one day at a time and piece back her life. We can not thank you enough for all the thoughts, prayers and well checks and the people who are doing all they can to help.
