Vet expenses for Gracie and Georgia
Donation protected
Gracie and Georgia Rose are Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs owned by Robert and Myra Olson of rural Jamestown ND. On Sunday August 9th after celebrating their daughter's birthday they returned to their homestead to find that Gracie and Georgia Rose were severely injured. The next morning they took the dogs to the vet and found out the extent of their injuries. Gracie was shot by a 22 caliber rifle and suffered a broken front leg. Georgia Rose was shot three time by a shotgun and received injuries to her front legs, left shoulder and lower abdomen areas. Both dogs required extensive veterinary treatments and will require more vet care in the months ahead. The family is humbly asking for donations to defray the cost of these treatments. The Stutsman County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident. Anyone with information relating to the shooting of these beautiful animals is asked to please contact their office. Thank you and blessings to you.
