Hi everyone,

I’m fundraising for my medical bills. I have a rare auto-immune disease called Ulcerative Colitis and it has caused me to get into extreme financial debt over the last 5 years. I have one of the most severe cases and I am in pain daily and often lose bodily functions when not on my medications or infusions. In fact, last year I lost my ability to walk and even was passing out involuntary due to not only my body fighting to stay alive but blood loss as well! At the start of my journey, almost all of my initial labs, scopes, biopsies, and procedures were not covered by insurance, and I have fallen financially. Honestly anything helps (even a $1 or a prayer or legal advice).

Update: 08.18.2022

I have ended up hospitalized and due to not responding to treatment I will be needing a 2 or 3-part surgery to remove my entire colon and rectum! This is all so scary and incredibly life-changing, on top of being an incredible financial burden. I will be out of work on and off and recovering for over 10 months. This affects my daily life, taking care of my dog, my career, and my passion projects. Thank you all for continuing to donate in these new and unfortunate circumstances.

Update: 10.02.2022

My position at my job was terminated and no longer working. I am concerned for future health coverages and cost of living during this time as Medical Assistance and MNSure have been giving me some troubles. Next scheduled surgery is in January (to create my j-pouch), it’s the second of the three surgeries. As of now, I’m in a lot of daily pain because I’ve been diagnosed with pyoderma gangrenosum which is ulcers on the outside of skin near my stoma site. I’m a tough cookie but I could use any help anyone can assist with at this time.
