Tanya's Fundraiser

Many of you know that our dear Tanya was significantly impacted by the recent tornado that devastated several middle Tennessee communities.

The house that Tanya rents lost its entire roof in that storm, which leaves her negotiating with her rental insurance company and trying to secure temporary accommodations while repairs are made.

To add insult to injury, the day after the storms Tanya's car broke down, leaving her uncertain how she will get to work each day.

All these circumstances would leave any human being a stressed and overwhelmed. Simply hunkering down in a storm you don't know you're going to survive while hearing your home's roof get violently ripped away is traumatic enough, but then to find out your means of getting to your job has failed you is enough to break anyone.

BUT, Tanya still comes to work every day, showering us with her own unique brand of love and joy, while shining as an example of resilience and dedication. We can all agree on at least one thing: we LUCKED OUT when Tanya was assigned to be our security officer. We value her more than words can say, not just because she keeps us safe, but because she is a source of light, hope, radical thoughtfulness, and pure love.
