Get Joe Home

Hello,

We are Team Joe. Our dear friend, Joe Stolte, recently had an accident at his home, which has left him paralyzed (hopefully not long term). Joe is heading home from the physical rehabilitation hospital where he has received care for the last six weeks.

His transition to living at home presents challenges for which there are solutions. Several things are needed to ensure Joe has a quality life experience and receives the best care possible at his home. Some of the items needed are:

• Head-controlled motorized wheelchair, hospital bed and shower chair

• Hydraulic lift systems to move from bed to chair and vice versa

• Van with a lift gate

• Home modifications for wheelchair accessibility (flooring, ramps, doorways, etc.)

• 24x7 medical care and rehabilitation

We are kicking off this GoFundMe fundraiser to help Joe cover these expenses and other expenses that may arise from his transition to living at home. Joe has been a great friend to many people, always willing to help others in their time of need. It’s our turn to help Joe in his time of need.
