Rhondda and Ogmore Flood Relief Fund
Yet again the Rhondda and Ogmore has been devastated by flooding caused by Storm Bert.
Working together as a team, Chris Bryant MP, Buffy Williams MS and Rhondda Cynon Taff councillors are hoping to get financial support to those in need. We aim to ensure that all funds raised are distributed quickly and fairly to those in need.
The Impact of Storm Bert
The recent heavy rains and winds of Storm Bert have caused widespread flooding across the Rhondda, affecting communities in Porth, Britannia, Ferndale, Pentre, Gelli, Treorchy, Ynyswen, Treherbert, and beyond. Homes, businesses and many families have been severely impacted. The devastation has left many facing the daunting task of cleaning up and replacing damaged property and furniture.
How Your Donations Will Help
Every donation made will go directly to supporting local residents and businesses affected by this disaster. Funds will be distributed through a simple and fair application process by the Manon Trust, a registered charity, details of which will be shared widely via social media and local networks. Payments will be made promptly to ensure those in need receive support without delay.
Why Your Support Matters
The Rhondda has a proud history of community spirit and resilience. Together, we have overcome many challenges, and this time will be no different. By contributing to this fund, you are helping us provide vital support to those who need it most, ensuring no one faces this crisis alone.
Thank You for Standing with the Rhondda
Your generosity can make a real difference in helping families and businesses recover from the devastation caused by Storm Bert. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to rebuilding our community and restoring hope.
Let’s stand together to support the Rhondda
