Pa Cha Vang’s Funeral Fund

Pa Cha Vang, our mother, grandma, and great grandma was always the glue that binded our family together. She was kind, giving, selfless, and loved us unconditionally, without any expectations. She was the candle in our darkness that guided us through this thing we called life. On Wednesday night, her candle burned out leaving our lives in the dim.

She was a fighter and, although she suffered from dementia, she didn't allow this disease to fully stop her from remembering each of her children's faces and names. She still remembered her childhood in Laos and would regale us with a colorful account of that childhood. She had adventures and would sneak out for walks until we caught up with her.

On her last day of life, she was up and about as usual. She had her full meals and daily walk. There was nothing out of the ordinary. She went to bed and fell asleep for the last time.

Although there were absolutely no signs that she was sick, we found out later that she was fighting COVID. We are all so very devastated. We loved her so much and we will forever miss her.

At this time, we are asking for any donation, no matter how small, so that we may lay our mother, grandma, and great grandma to rest.
