Wild lands firefighters need our help! These immeasurably brave men and women are working in conditions we can't begin to imagine. In the absence of rain, they are the only thing between the fires and further distruction of wild lands and communities. They need personal items like eye drops, protein bars, electrolyte drinks, T-shirts, socks, underwear, poison oak soap or cream and wet wipes. The Pacific Fire Aid Fund (PFAF) has been established to help with that need.
PFAF is partnered with the Seven Fires Foundation in Bandon, OR, enabling us to assist where the need is greatest. Seven Fires is a hub for information and networking for various relief efforts including helping evacuees, rescuing animals, and supporting fire crews. For more information about Seven Fires go to: www.7fires.org.
Donations collected by PFAF will be used to purchase and deliver (to Seven Fires' headquarters) much needed supplies for fire crews throughout Oregon and California so they may remain healthy and strong while they continue their profoundly essential work. Fire crews consist of paid and volunteer staff. Some have been deployed from municipal fire departments, tribal communities as well as other states and countries. Hundreds of crews and thousands of firefighters currently need aid. When the firefighters leave Oregon and California, we will continue to assist those who are displaced.
Under Seven Fires Foundation's 501c3, your donation to the Pacific Fire Aid Fund is tax deductible.
