Sailing to Qualify for the Olympics (ILCA 6)

My name is Vaimo'oi'a Ripley, I represent Samoa in Sailing (ILCA 6) and I need your help to get to the Olympics.

There are five attempts to qualify and the first one is in August 2023 in The Hague, Netherlands.

Competing at international races will increase Samoa’s chances of getting a spot in the 2024 Olympics.

Costs to attend regattas include travelling, sailing equipment and maintenance along with registrations and insurance.

To compete on the world stage, in a sport that is intertwined with our history as navigators of the vast Moana - will be an honour, and what greater stage is there for my va’a failā to the world than the Olympics⛵️

Any donation you can contribute will go towards this dream to compete with the best, and to train with the best.
